Privacy Policy — Sevasamithi Manager

This Privacy Policy describes how Sevasamithi Manager ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account information: When a Sevasamithi (festival committee) admin creates an account or adds a member, we collect a username and password to allow login.

Sevasamithi information: Group name, area/location, festival year, and an optional profile photo.

Donor and financial information: Donor names, mobile numbers, expected and received contribution amounts, payment methods, and dates, entered by committee admins and members.

Expense information: Expense descriptions, amounts, categories, and dates, entered by committee admins and members.

Optional contact information: An admin mobile number, if provided during Sevasamithi creation.

We do not collect location data, device identifiers for advertising, or browsing history.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use the information you provide solely to operate the App's core functionality: tracking festival donations and expenses, authenticating logins, and displaying dashboards and reports to authorized committee members.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

THIRD-PARTY DATA PROCESSING

The App uses Supabase (a backend database and file storage provider) to store all of the information described above. Supabase processes this data on our behalf under its own data processing terms. No other third parties receive your data.

DATA SHARING WITHIN THE APP

Donor and financial information entered into a Sevasamithi is visible to the members and admins of that same Sevasamithi, as controlled by the roles assigned by the Sevasamithi's admin. A "Share Dashboard" feature allows an admin to generate a read-only summary link, which should only be shared with people you intend to see that summary.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Data is retained for as long as your Sevasamithi account remains active. To request deletion of your Sevasamithi's data, contact us at reddynaveen98@gmail.com.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
